CrossFit Spot the Flaw
I come from an athletic background, playing football and wrestling year round was the norm for me growing up. In 2006 at my first duty station I started Powerlifting to keep my competitive side alive.
In 2011, I started CrossFit to focus more on conditioning. After my first CrossFit Open in 2012 I was hooked.
In April 2013, I decided to take a Level 1 CrossFit Trainers Course to better educate myself. I started coaching shortly after, and I enjoy helping athletes meet their goals. I currently hold my CrossFit Level 2 certificate.
In my downtime I like to put my fitness to use and enjoy the outdoors!

CrossFit Aerobic Capacity
I've been active for as long as I can remember and have made fitness an essential part of my lifestyle. I started riding horses competitively when I was 10 and have cross-country skied and hiked my entire life.
I picked up weightlifting and more traditional gym training when I attended college. I soon began personal training and leading group fitness classes and realized I had a great love for coaching.
I started CrossFit in early 2013 and haven't looked back! I love how the community inspires people to look, feel, and do their best everyday!

BS Elementary Education
BS Special Education (K-12)
I grew up being very active in youth sports such as basketball and soccer. I played NCAA Division I Soccer at University of Hartford and eventually in a Semi-Professional Women's Soccer League in Colorado.
I taught Special Education for eight years at the Middle School level, coached elite competitive soccer teams as well as JV and Varsity Girls Soccer. At one point I created and ran a Youth Soccer Academy as well.
I didn't find CrossFit until I was 40 years old and a mother of a 10 year old special needs boy. CrossFit soon became a great outlet for me both mentally and physically. It has allowed me to gain physical strength in order to lift and carry my son who is immobile.
I quickly got my CrossFit Coaching certificates to coach adults and youth. I absolutely love to help and serve others!!! CrossFit has had such a positive impact on my life and I love that I can pass it on to others!
